A new silhouette designed for effortless versatility – the Thin Strap Underwire Piece features beaded adjustable side ties, allowing you to customise the fit and coverage. A balance of structure and ease, made to fit the way you want.

Finished in Ibisco – our exclusive abstract floral print, inspired by the hibiscus and grounded in a warm, neutral brown.

This print has a warm cream hue, though it may appear whiter in campaign photos. Refer to the first product image for the most accurate colour representation.

This style is true to size. This style is best suited to B-DD cup busts – if you have a bust large than this, we might suggest sizing up*

Alena is an AU8 (D Cup), and wears an AU8/US4 in style.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to lodge your return and ship it back to our warehouse.

All items must be unworn and returned in original condition – all tags and hygiene stickers attached, returned in their original Ochre Lane garment bag and have no signs of wear. This includes no lint, pet hair and try on marks (make up, deodorant and body care products).
Full price items can be returned for a refund – includes items purchased using a 10% welcome code. Return shipping fees covered by the customer.
Sale or discounted items can be returned for a store credit only provided they're not marked as final sale. This includes orders placed during a storewide sale e.g. Birthday Sale, Black Friday, Afterpay Day etc.
Size or style exchanges available with Australia only. Exchange shipping fee applies.
Final Sale items cannot be returned at all – unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
Gift with purchase items must also be returned in original condition to receive a refund. This does not apply to store credit or exchange returns.

Fabric pilling after first wear

I waited a few months before finally purchasing this piece due to the higher price point, and I was genuinely excited when it arrived. The fit and design were beautiful.

However, after wearing it once on a short boat trip, I noticed pilling across the mid to bottom area. This was really surprising, as I was simply lying on a standard outdoor bean bag and later sitting on wooden restaurant chairs, nothing I would consider unusual or harsh use.

When I reached out to customer support, I provided photos, videos, and even references of the surfaces I was on. I was then advised that the item is considered “resort wear” rather than “swimwear.” While I understand there may be differences in intended use, I still wouldn’t expect noticeable deterioration after such minimal, normal wear, especially at this price point.

For something marketed within a beach or resort context, I would have expected the fabric to be more durable against everyday surfaces like lounge seating or beach furniture.

Just something to keep in mind before purchasing.

As you mentioned, our team explained pilling can occur when delicate fabrics experience friction against textured surfaces — and it can often happen without realising, as many outdoor surfaces like bean bags, timber seating, and sand are rougher than they appear. This is not uncommon for most swim fabrics and is outlined in our care instructions.

As the pilling is a result of surface contact rather than a manufacturing fault, we're unable to offer a replacement on this occasion. We understand this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, and we hope the goodwill gift card was a welcome gesture.
