Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order or using this website, you confirm you are 18+ and legally able to form a contract.

We may refuse service or cancel orders if you breach these Terms. Ochre Lane reserves the right to cancel your order at any time for any reason we see fit.

Intellectual Property & Use of Content

All content on ochrelane.com — including images, text, designs, logos — is owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

Website Security & Privacy

We use SSL encryption (or equivalent) to help protect your personal and payment data.

We do not store full credit card details; only retain what is required for order verification and refunds.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, special, incidental losses you may suffer in connection with your use of our site or products, unless caused by our negligence or breach of ACL.

Our liability under ACL in the case of faulty goods is limited to repair, replacement, or refund.

Website Use, User Conduct & Account Safety

You agree not to misuse our website (e.g., hacking attempts, malware, interfering with system integrity).

If you have an account, you’re responsible for maintaining password security and any activity under your account.

SMS & Email Marketing Communications 

If you opt in to receive SMS or email marketing material, you consent to receive promotional and order-related messages.

You can opt-out any time by replying “STOP” or using the unsubscribe link.

Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

Product Listings, Prices & Payment

All product prices are in AUD and include GST (where applicable). Other currencies may be displayed for convenience but AUD is final at payment.

Prices and stock are subject to change without notice. If a price error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel or amend orders.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase via the payment methods we accept (e.g. credit card, PayPal, Afterpay, etc.).

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs, delivery regions, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control once the order is with the carrier or due to customs, natural disasters, or similar.

International Orders

Tariffs, duties & taxes incurred on International orders are the responsibility of the customer – Ochre Lane will not cover these costs. Shipping fees for any orders returned to sender due to duties not paid, will be deducted from the order refund or store credit.

Click & Collect

Orders must be collected within 14 days from when you receive collection-ready notification. If not collected, the order may be cancelled or re-shipped with additional costs.

Faulty Goods

If you believe a product is faulty, contact us immediately with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos showing the fault.

After assessment, if the fault is confirmed, we’ll replace, repair, or refund as per ACL. If no fault is found, you may be responsible for return shipping.

Returns Policy

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), any product that is faulty, not as described, or doesn’t meet guarantees is eligible for repair, replacement, or refund.

Ochre Lane does not cover the cost of return shipping, this is the responsibility of the customer – however we may provide the option to pre-purchase a prepaid returns label in the returns portal.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns or exchanges.

Pre-Orders & Stock Availability

From time to time, items may be offered on pre-order. Delivery dates are estimates only; delays may occur.

If pre-order dates change substantially, we will notify you and give you the option to cancel.

All products are subject to availability. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is out of stock or for any other reason before dispatching.

Promotions, Discount Codes & Site-wide sales

Promotional codes or offers are valid under the conditions stated when they are offered. Only one promotional code may be used per transaction, unless explicitly allowed.

Items purchased during a site-wide sale or discounted by 15% or more (and not marked as final sale) are not eligible for a refund. Read our full returns policy and view any sale specific terms & condition pages (e.g. Black Friday / Birthday Sale T&Cs).

Gift Cards

Gift cards and store credit: valid for 3 years from issue (unless stated otherwise in a promotion). Not redeemable for cash.

If an order paid in part by gift card or store credit is cancelled or returned, the amount attributable to the gift card/credit is returned as store credit.

Changes to Terms, Policies & Website Availability

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

We aim to keep the website available, but we are not liable for downtime (planned or unplanned) or any loss resulting from it.

Severability, Termination & Full Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions still apply.

We may terminate or suspend your account or access to services if you breach these Terms.

These Terms, along with our Returns Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ochre Lane.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
