Care Guide
To keep your Ochre Lane pieces in great shape for the long haul, here's how to take care of them best.
Swimwear Care
Our terry towelling swimwear is a delicate fabric. We want your pieces to last for seasons to come. We have listed our recommend care steps and instructions below. Please follow these instructions carefully to best look after your swimwear.
-
Hand Wash Only
Hand wash your swimwear in cold water only and use with a gentle detergent if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
-
Post Wash or Swim
Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean or iron. Lay flat to dry in shade.
-
Avoid Chlorine
Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, some chlorinated pools, especially public pools or hotel spas can have a bleach affect on the fabric and can cause the fabric to fade and/or turn green. We would recommend to avoid chlorine pools or spas when wearing Ochre Lane swimwear.
-
Avoid Oils & Wax
Avoid surf waxes and products such as sun tan oils and fake tan that may stain or pill the fabric.
Eyewear Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal quality of your sunglasses, it is essential to follow proper care instructions. Read our recommend care instructions for our sunglasses below.
All Ochre Lane frames come with a complimentary case & cloth to keep your frames protected for years to come.
-
Keep Them Clean
Always clean the lenses with the microfiber cloth to prevent scratches and smudges, avoiding the use of harsh materials that could damage the coatings.
-
Keep Them Protected
Store your sunglasses in a protective case when not in use to shield them from potential scratches and impacts. Avoid placing them face down on surfaces to prevent lens damage.
-
Avoid Heat
Additionally, steer clear of exposing your sunglasses to extreme temperatures, as prolonged exposure to heat can distort frames and compromise lens coatings.
